About the Author

Kendall Annette is a Black writer born and raised in the state of North Carolina, where she lives with her husband and their Goldador, Loki, who gladly lives up to his name. As an only child, she began writing stories that made her feel less alone and has never put down a pen since.

Now, as an adult, she writes in hopes of doing the same for others, and she believes the marginalized community needs to see stories championing people like herself as main characters. When she’s not writing, you can find her making social media content, drinking lavender lattes, or watching her favorite scary movie.
